Our Basic Statement of Faith

     1. The Word of God: We believe all 66 books of the Bible to be inspired by by the Word of God (Logos). It is the only authority for                       Christian Living, until the Word Yeshua/Jesus Christ reveals new scrolls when he is ready.  John 1:1-14

  1. The Trinity: We believe in one God, Creator and Sustainer of all things, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Mathew 3:16-17, John 4:24, Romans 8:5-11)

  1. God the Father: We believe in God the Father, an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. He is intimately involved in the affairs of men and women, hears and answers prayer, and saves from death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ. (John 4:24, Ps.6:9, John 3:16)

  1. Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s eternal Son/ fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, was crucified as a sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. He rose from the dead and returned to heaven. (John 1:1, 8:58, Eph.1:7)

  1. Holy Spirit: We believe in the Holy Spirit, and His work in regeneration, sanctification, and preservation. His ministry is to redeem the lost, and empower the believer for godly living and service. (Mt.28:19, Acts 1:8) We also believe he is a person of the GodHead. He can be recieved by humans and they will become Spirit filled Born Again believers. Jesus said that we cannot see the Kingdom unless we are born of Water & Spirit. (John 3: 1-13). The Holy Spirit (Ruach ha Kodesh) in Hebrew, can be quenched and grieved but we cannot Sin against the Holy Spirit, as that is unforgivable according to scripture.

  1. Salvation: We believe in salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ which is also a gift and not of works that we might boast. By personally receiving Christ through faith, we are forgiven of our sins, reborn by God’s Spirit and declared with assurance to be children of God. (John 1;12, Romans 3:21-26, Eph.1:3-8 Eph 2:8-9)

  1. The Church: We believe the Church is the living body of Christ on earth. All who believe in Him as Savior are part of His body. The Church’s mission is to preach the gospel, grow the saved, help save the lost and care for the downtrodden. The Church celebrates our risen Savior through worship and the sacraments of baptism and communion. (Mt.28:18-20, Eph.2:18-22)

  1. Last Things: We expect Jesus to return at any time, a time unknown to anyone but God, to raise the dead, judge the world, and establish His kingdom. This encourages believers with the hope that we shall forever be with Him. (Matthew: 24:30, Acts 1: 9-11, 2 Tim: 4:1)
